HHS Telemedicine Hack Series

A 10 week learning community run by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HSS), Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response in partnership with the ECHO Institute at the University of New Mexico and the Public Health Foundation’s TRAIN Learning Network. The purpose of this series is to accelerate telemedicine implementation for ambulatory providers, including primary care, surgical, rural/urban, dental, mental health, solo practitioners, physical therapy, and school-based practitioners. The series includes five teleECHO sessions, five virtual office hour discussion panels, and virtual discussion boards for peer-to-peer learning. Topics include: (1) Telemedicine: Where Do I Start?, (2) Workflows and Documentation; (3) Billing and Reimbursement: How to Do It Properly and Ensure Compliance; (4) Clinical Best Practices and the Art of the Tele-Physical Exam; and (5) The New Normal: Tips to Make Telemedicine Part of Your Permanent Practice.
